Pauline Healey - Artist

Pauline Healey lives in Fort Myers, Florida. Raised in Saugus. Massachusetts, in a family of four children, she was the third child and was left alone enough to develop her creativity. She became a Florida snowbird in 1986 and a permanent Florida resident in 1992. Originally painting in oils, Pauline has been painting in watercolor since joining the Fort Myers Beach Art Association in 1995. She has taken watercolor workshops with Don Andrews, Mary Alice Brockman, Tom Hill, Tony Van Hasselt, Mel Stebin, Janet Walch, Pat Weaver, Betty Lou Schlemm, Peter Spataro, and Frank Webb. Pauline's art have been accepted in juried shows in Art League of Marco Island, Cape Coral Art League, Art League of Bonita Springs, Art League of Fort Myers, Naples Art Association, Sanibel - Captiva Art League and the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. She has won many awards. Her painting was featured in an article in the Winter 2000 Issue of "Watercolor Magazine" In 2011, her painting “Harvard Square” was accepted in the Florida Watercolor Society Annual 40th Annual Exhibition.

My Artwork

My work includes all media. I paint mostly in watercolor, but you will see paintings in oil, acrylic and batik also. I see a demonstration of a new technique and I have to try it. I love color. There will be lots of red paintings.
